This is my 3rd Bird-a-thon - taking on a 24-hour “Big Day” challenge across the Denver metro area and foothills to see and identify as many bird species as possible during spring migration. My team and I will be visiting wetlands, rivers, grasslands, and mountain habitats in support of bird conservation and community science.
Birdathon helps raise awareness of the incredible diversity of birds found in our area while also raising funds to support Denver Audubon’s conservation and education programs that connect people with birds and protect the habitats they depend on.
